Purchase Order Policy

Introduction:

  1. The website (the “Website”) of vikri jewels (hereinafter “vikri,” “we,” or “our”) with its Registered Office at 33-34 mahaveer colony TONK ROAD Jaipur Jaipur Rajasthan 302033, India is located at the domain http://www.vikrijewels.com and any of its web pages.
  • Before going on to place an order, please read the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and other rules detailed on the Website. It will be assumed that you have read the Terms and Conditions and other rules and that you agree to and are bound by them by placing a purchase order.

Offering an invitation and accepting an offer

Offering an invitation and accepting an offer:

  1. All goods and data on the website are invitations to offer from VIKRI, not actual offers. VIKRI maintains the right to accept or reject your offer in whole or in part. Your order for the purchase of any products represents your offer, which is subject to the Terms and the terms specified in this policy.
  2. When the ordered item(s) are shipped out, VIKRI will consider your order to be accepted for purchase. For the avoidance of confusion, VIKRI will not consider your offer accepted until the ordered product(s) are shipped out.
  3. It’s possible that not all the ordered product(s) will be delivered at once. In this case, VIKRI will be judged to have accepted the portion of the order that was delivered, but VIKRI will still be considering the remainder as an offer that it can accept or reject.
  4. Before accepting any order, we may also need to conduct further checks or gather more data. We will call you, send you an email, or use any other method of communication if you have given us your contact information, such your mobile number, phone number, or email address, to get more information from you so we may accept your order.
  5. VIKRI may contact you through phone, email, or any other means of communication to inform you as quickly as possible of (i) the receipt of your order; or (ii) the confirmation of the dispatch of the product(s) and VIKRI’s acceptance of your order. Through the ‘Order Tracking’ feature on the website, you may follow the delivery of the package.
  6. We collect payment from you before your purchase is sent in relation to the product(s) sold on the website. If we are unable to deliver the product(s) you ordered for whatever reason, we will let you know and may even refund the price of the unavailable or undeliverable product(s). VIKRI will only let you know that it cannot accept your offer if the product(s) are sold on the website, but the payment terms are “Cash on Delivery.”

Accuracy is not Promised:

  1. The quality or look of the product/merchandise that you have ordered from VIKRI is not guaranteed to be exact by VIKRI.
  2. In order to give you the best products possible, VIKRI makes every effort. All our items are handmade, there may be variations in each piece, so VIKRI makes no guarantees that it will fulfil your expectations.
  3. VIKRI has made every effort to guarantee that the colours, sizes, shapes, designs, and other characteristics of the goods/merchandise shown on our website are faithfully recreated in order to closely reflect the real thing. However, the setup of your computer resource would determine the graphical presentation or the visuals of the goods/merchandise. VIKRI makes no claims as to the accuracy of the colour of products or merchandise as it appears on the Website on your computer’s screen. It’s also possible that the things you buy or get from the website won’t live up to your expectations in terms of quality.
  4. Regarding the quality, suitability, accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, performance, safety, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or legality of the products listed, displayed, or transacted, or the content (including product information and/or specifications on the Website), VIKRI expressly disclaims any warranties or representations (express or implied).
  5. Even though we have taken steps to prevent content inaccuracies, this Website, including content, information, software, goods, audio or video, and related graphics is supplied “as is” and without any warranties of any kind. Before or after the transaction, VIKRI is under no obligation to offer a tangible glimpse of the item.

Liability Limitation:

  1. If the quality of any goods you acquire through the website falls short of your expectations, VIKRI is not responsible for paying you compensation. The most that VIKRI will permit you to do is return the item and exchange it for a different item within the conditions outlined in VIKRI’s “Return and Exchanges Policy.”
  2. You are prohibited from requesting from VIKRI any sort of special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages or compensation for any cause, including but not limited to:
  3. any differences in the end product’s or merchandise’s appearance or finish.
  4. any supply delay resulting from Force Majeure situations or unanticipated circumstances.
  5. any discounts that were squandered opportunities.
  6. any problem with courier services, our delivery partners, or their employees.
  7. any gift or discount vouchers that were deactivated when they reached their expiration date.
  8. Lack of availability of goods you attempted to acquire, etc.
  9. Customers who make unreasonable or illegal requests for returns or exchanges in addition to their rightful refunds will be considered a loss to VIKRI, and VIKRI retains the right to cancel orders or block accounts of such customers without warning.

Pricing:

  1. VIKRI will try to give you the most affordable rates on goods and/or services. VIKRI does not promise that the cost will be the lowest in the region where your purchase order is being placed. The prices listed on the Website cannot be compared to those for identical or comparable goods offered at VIKRI shops or through any other online or offline sale.
  2. The pricing is subject to VIKRI’s internal pricing policy, and VIKRI will be the only party with the authority to set the prices. As a result, there are no notice requirements for price changes. Additionally, VIKRI reserves the right to modify the product(s)/merchandise(s) prices and availability at any time.
  3. Indian currency is referred to as “Rupee/INR” in all instances on the website. Those listed on the website for domestic sales, or sales of products within India, may differ from prices of comparable products meant for international sales, or sales outside India.
  4. Without exception, the price indicated on the website for any product(s) in INR reflects the complete cost of the product(s) being sent to India.
  5. Unless otherwise specified, the price displayed on the Website for any product(s) in foreign currency represents only the price of the product(s) to be shipped outside of India and excludes charges toward foreign shipping costs, any customs fees, import duties, taxes, and levies that would be additional. It should be reminded that in the event of a global transaction, VIKRI is unable to estimate the amount of any customs fees, import tariffs, taxes, or levies. Be aware that the actual amount you will pay as an overseas buyer will be the corresponding sum in the currency of your credit card or debit card, depending on the currency conversions made by your bank, credit card company, or debit card provider on the date of invoicing.

Taxes and Duties:

  1. For domestic deliveries, i.e., delivery of products within India, all taxes and duties are included in the price of the product set out on the Website.
  2. For international deliveries, i.e., delivery of products outside India is undertaken on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, which means product prices displayed are exclusive of all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes. As the recipient of the product, you are liable for all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes levied by the country. Payment of these taxes or duties is necessary for the delivery of the product(s). We are unable to advise what amount this would be as duties vary from country to country.

Inaccurate pricing or unavailability

  1. The information/products made available on the website could include inaccuracies or typographical mistakes, including but not limited to the product(s) description, availability, or pricing (s). It’s possible that you won’t discover these errors or disparities until after you’ve placed the order. One of the following actions will be taken if we find a pricing error:
  2. VIKRI will charge the lesser amount and send you the product if the real price of the product(s) is less than the price shown or listed on the website (s). In these circumstances, VIKRI will reimburse the overcharged sum. VIKRI will charge you the actual, or lower price, if the product(s) are sold on the website but the payment terms are “Cash on Delivery.”
  3. If the product(s)’ actual price is higher than the price stated or listed on the website, VIKRI will, in its sole discretion, notify you by email, call, or letter of the correct price and ask you for instructions on whether you would like to cancel your order or pay the balance amount, unless the product(s) has already been dispatched. If you decide to cancel the order, VIKRI will reimburse your payment. VIKRI, however, will execute your order if you choose to pay the difference.
  4. Because the product you ordered is not available, VIKRI will reject and cancel your order and let you know why. VIKRI will reimburse you for the payment you made.
  5. VIKRI will provide the payment gateway with the required instructions about the reversal or reimbursement of any payment made by VIKRI under Sections 7(b), 7(c), and 7(d) within 5 working days. The payment gateways may take up to a month to credit such cash to your account, therefore it is important to keep that in mind.

Order cancellation or non-acceptance:

  1. Order not accepted by VIKRI:
  2. There may be some purchase orders that VIKRI cannot accept. In its sole discretion, VIKRI retains the right to decline or reject your offer to buy for any reason, including but not restricted to:
  3. limited amounts of the product(s) that can be purchased; or
  4. mistakes or inaccuracies in the pricing or product descriptions; or
  5. any flaw in the product’s quality that is discovered; or
  6. not receiving the extra information VIKRI asked; or
  7. Lack of payment receipt from a bank, credit card, or debit card due to inadequate funds, etc.
  8. VIKRI will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled. If your order is cancelled after receipt of payment from you, the said amount will be refunded.
  9. VIKRI shall not be liable to you for any direct or indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss suffered by you due to non-acceptance of your offer to purchase the products or delay in refund of your money or delay in informing you about non-acceptance of your order.
  10. Order cancellation by you:
  11. Within 24 hours of placing a purchase, you have the option to cancel it. After 24 hours have passed since you placed the order, you are not permitted to cancel it. However, VIKRI reserves the right to accept or reject requests for order cancellations for any reason if VIKRI receives requests for the cancellation of any order beyond 24 hours. If you ordered as a:
  12. By selecting the “Cancel” button found under the “My Order Tab” on the website after logging in as a registered user, you will be able to cancel the order. Please be aware that after 24 hours, the “Cancel” button will no longer function.
  13. You must begin the cancellation process as a guest user within 24 hours of placing the order by sending an email to customercare@vikrijewels.com.
  14. As is usual in business, if VIKRI receives a cancellation notice within 24 hours of the purchase being placed, VIKRI will reimburse the entire sum.
  15. VIKRI has the right to cancel an order and issue a full refund if VIKRI has not processed or approved it.
  16. If the order has already been processed and shipped, VIKRI may decide to cancel it and issue a store credit (“Vikri Wallet”) for the product’s original purchase price only upon (A) receipt of the product within 10 days of the date of delivery to you, (B) through official inspection of the product, and (C) upon VIKRI’s satisfaction that the product has been returned in good condition. Please read the “Returns & Exchange” policy of VIKRI as well.
  17. VIKRI will provide the payment gateway with the relevant instructions about any reimbursement of any payment made by VIKRI under Sections 8(a)(ii), 8(b)(ii), and 8(b)(iii) within 5 working days. The payment gateways may take up to a month to credit such cash to your account, therefore it is important to keep that in mind.

Delivery:

  1. We require the signature of the person (i) yourself; (ii) the intended recipient in the case of gifts; or (iii) any person known to you/the intended recipient who is present at the time and place of delivery and accepts delivery on your behalf/the intended recipient to whom products have been delivered) as acknowledgement of delivery of the products so ordered. The products become yours or the intended recipient’s property once we get an acknowledgment.
  2. Post Office Box (“P. O. Box”) addresses are not guaranteed to receive product(s) from VIKRI, and VIKRI disclaims all liability for orders that are not delivered if the delivery address contains P. O. Box information in any way. VIKRI will let you know that your order cannot be filled and will reimburse your payment if it cannot be delivered to the P. O. Box.
  3. VIKRI is not responsible for any delays or non-delivery of the ordered product(s) caused by any factor outside of its reasonable control. Therefore, it is recommended that you place your orders well in advance.
  4. VIKRI won’t be responsible if the product(s) you ordered aren’t delivered because you gave VIKRI the wrong information, including the wrong recipient’s name, address, or phone number.
  5. VIKRI shall be entitled to additional costs for resending the product(s) to the right address if it is returned to VIKRI as undelivered due to an incorrect address. You will be responsible for covering the additional redelivery fees up front, and the delivery window will be lengthened.
  6. VIKRI will provide the payment gateway with the relevant instructions about any refund of any payment made by VIKRI under Section 9(b) within 5 working days. The payment gateways may take up to a month to credit such cash to your account, therefore it is important to keep that in mind.

Miscellaneous:

  1. By placing an order for a product on the Website, you acknowledge that you are using your best and most careful judgement before engaging in any transactions with VIKRI through this Website. You further acknowledge that you are accessing the product(s) made available on this Website and transacting at your sole risk.
  2. You are urged to carefully read the product description, any product-specific terms, the Terms, and other policies, such as the “Returns and Exchange Policy,” before placing an order on VIKRI.
  3. As a matter of procedure, VIKRI deposits funds back into the same bank account, debit card, or credit card that it used to make the original purchase. However, in rare circumstances, VIKRI may, at its discretion and in accordance with certain requirements, grant your request to transfer or refund money to any other credit card, debit card, or bank account as appropriate.
